Director of Analytics Consulting - Credit Risk

The ESS Data Science Team supports Experian's global business. The team is responsible in supporting analytic and generative AI products for decisioning, analytics, and Fraud and ID. The team accelerates the use of Experian products, demos new solutions to clients, provides clients a clear understanding on how the products are deployed on our platform. You will be focused on client interaction with a heavy concentration in Data Science and Experian GPT and be regarded as a specialist for Experian products. You will understand and have experience in credit risk management, data science and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Gather customer feedback from top tier financial institutions to guide new product development, feature prioritisation, and product evolution of tools and capabilities supported by the Ascend Platform.
  • Lead teams in a collaborative effort involving Engineering and data science experts in the design and implementation of Machine Learning, Dashboarding, Ad Hoc Analysis and AI application on a true big data platform.
  • Partner with Leaders, Sales Engineers, Account Executives, and Product Managers to bring new innovated solutions to market that provide impact to Experian's broad customer base.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and technological advancements to ensure the technology stack meets all compliance requirements.
  • Research and integrate new data assets from different resources into Experian's ML and AI platform. Assess analytic tools developed internally and externally for their fit and value add to Experian's cleints to solve business problems and capture opportunities.
  • Be the main liaison between regional product management and technical analytics and engineering teams.
  • Extensive experience in credit risk management
  • Experience of managing the build of analytical tools in a regulatory environment.
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science or related field or relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis software/data analysis experience including data manipulation; preferably Python and R
  • A track record for leading project teams, managing complex analytical projects, and setting decision strategies and policies.
  • The ability to present to all levels of management within Experian and to our clients.
