Primary Function of the Position

This position will implement and execute marketing programs for the Country while developing surgeon and executive champions to support and drive adoption and growth of da VinciÒ surgical procedures and system installation. The Director Marketing Taiwan is also expected to collaborate closely with a cross-functional regional sales and training team, ensuring alignment with the Global Marketing group.

 

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop and execute country marketing tactics. This will include detailed activities to be implemented in a defined timeline and budget in strong collaboration with Global marketing team and local sales leadership
  • Strong partnering with clinical and capital sales teams in a growing competitive environment for analysis, targeting and regional action planning purposes
  • Work closely with Market Access and Clinical Affairs teams to develop and implement strategies that will support procedure adoption goals
  • Conduct Weekly Meetings with cross-functional team members to manage priorities and sync progress.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Training department to identify and support the development of regional sales team. Deliver content for regional company meetings
  • Deliver corporate clinical & capital marketing and sales tools to achieve short and long-term goals for procedures /sales quotas, products and system sales (executive and clinical vision presentations, webinars, KOL videos and content, market development events, executive sessions, white papers, key publication summaries etc…)
  • Partner with key surgeon champions (KOLs) to develop and implement leading robotic clinical education programs and symposia to drive competency and utilization of da Vinci Surgery
  • Develop and approve proctors based on surgical, clinical and teaching expertise to implement safe and effective reproducible surgical techniques with improve clinical outcomes
  • Partner with key ESL ( Executive Surgeon Leader) or Executive KOLs to develop and implement leading Robotic program best practice messaging, talk track to drive account expansion, system expansion and procedure adoption.
  • Work closely with APAC and Local Market Access Manager team to assist in development and execution of cost effectiveness/ value strategies in key markets
  • Collect, analyze and share competitive data for strategic positioning and initiatives
  • Validate Clinical and Economical data with reference case observation center, TPO (Total Program Observation) , key surgeon champions (KOLs), Executives KOLs and proctors
  • Develop and implement Intuitive’s presence at key national conferences, including robotics symposia, post graduate (PG) courses, live surgical broadcasts, tradeshow booth promotion and presence
  • Lead and manage a fast-growing and changing organization, executing a hiring and development plan to meet growth targets.
  • Provide coaching and development across the organization to develop future leaders and stronger Marketing people.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of Clinical/Product marketing experience in a medical device company or 10+ years of Healthcare Industry.
  • Surgical and/or Operating Theatre (Room) sales experience
  • Proven ability to effectively position and procedure/product messages and develop strong sales support to drive desired adoption
  • Demonstrated success in building clinical education and marketing programs to drive product/procedure growth
  • Language (spoken and written): native Chinese and fluent English
  • Superior verbal/written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal work across multiple constituents
  • Self-starter with ability to take leadership in unstructured environment
  • A keen ability to manage projects, keeping to budget, organizing, prioritizing and coping with multiple tasks
  • Strong knowledge of the MS Office product suite.
  • Other data analysis tool (SFDC, Tableau, or Power Bi) is preferred

 

Required Education and Training

  • Bachelor's degree in life science or business discipline

 

Working Conditions

  • 50%+ travel is needed
