In Poland we cooperate with +140k professional B2C sellers who drive their ecommerce revenues via Allegro platform. Customers buy millions of products everyday.
We are looking for an experienced procurement leader who has experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and process optimization to help us manage the spending in key categories (IT, marketing, Delivery Experience) and improve the overall purchasing experience for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive understanding of best-in-class procurement standards and has proven abilities in fostering cross-functional alignment to deliver optimal business value for their internal clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Sourcing: Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Building strong relationships within organization to secure transferring of business needs into procurement pipeline
Cost Management: Identifying opportunities for cost savings through negotiations, supplier selection, and optimizing procurement processes.Implement initiatives to reduce costs without compromising quality.
Supplier Relationship Management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Continuous optimization of a portfolio of suppliers including risk assessment in terms of potential vendor lock-ins.
Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks in the supply chain, such as supplier reliability issues or market volatility.
Compliance: Ensuring all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring the procurement team, fostering professional growth, and ensuring team objectives are met.
Data Analysis: Utilizing data to make informed decisions, track procurement performance, and drive continuous improvement.Track and analyze procurement KPIs to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Proven ability to develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives
Reliable business partner to C-level executives
Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers
Effective leader with a track record of mentoring and guiding procurement teams
Data-driven decision maker, proficient in tracking performance and fostering continuous improvement
Skilled in analyzing procurement KPIs to measure process efficiency and effectiveness
Proficient in English
Regional or international experience is a strong asset
