OVERVIEW:

Sportradar, a global leader in digital sports services, is seeking an experienced Global Sales Leader to drive the new business growth of our Global Media units.

As a pioneering force in sports data and audiovisual services, Sportradar provides cutting-edge solutions to media companies, bookmakers, sports federations, and government authorities worldwide. In recent years, we've significantly expanded our data offerings to media organizations across the United States and are now focused on scaling this success internationally. Our goal is to build deeper partnerships with media organizations, broadcasters, sports leagues, and brands, leveraging our comprehensive data coverage, innovative product enhancements, and a dynamic new sales team to capture significant market share.

In parallel, the successful candidate will also spearhead the global expansion of our OTT business, driving new sales opportunities by introducing our technology to sports leagues and federations.

This role will report directly to the VP of Global Sales, SBK & Casino, and will lead a dedicated global team focused on media sales and OTT services. The position offers the opportunity to shape the future of our global media and OTT strategy while playing a key role in driving long-term business growth.

 

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Lead and manage a media sales team (Sports API and OTT), providing mentorship, coaching, and performance guidance.
  • Manage Tier 1 new client relationships and ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team building synergies.
  • Drive sales strategy and support product development for our media business growth.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product) and stay aligned with market trends and competitor activities.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in leading and managing sales teams
  • Expertise in sales and marketing, with demonstrated success pitching new business and building long-term relationships with clients
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Understanding of the sports media and data eco-system
  • A broad international network of media partners would be a great plus
  • Passionate about sports
