Job Description
The Director of Learning Design will lead the learning strategy and design to communicate the value of Magic Leap AR products to enterprise partners. You will lead a team of global trainers and coordinate the facilitation of hands-on technical training and virtual training.
Build the Magic Leap learning methodology, architecture, and toolsets for the development of innovative training content. You will use standard methodologies to establish plans for measuring training effectiveness that aligns with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts needs analysis to determine training needs
- Develop surveys to capture data and analyzes data to improve training effectiveness
- Manages global training budgets
- Formulates standard training programs and measurement plans
- Identifies and implements training processes and systems
- Lead the RFP and onboarding of global training vendor partners
- Creates mixed-method training content to accelerate learning
- Works cross-functionally with Product Engineers to develop and update training content
- Build sales enablement training content, including industry use-cases
- Implements various instructional methods that meet all learning types
- Develop, organize, and maintain training materials in a knowledge-base system
- Develop and manage a global Learning Management System
- Develop effective training techniques and provide coaching for master trainers
- Evaluates the performance of master trainers and maintain a performance index
- Maintain knowledge with regards to product portfolio and act as a product matter expert
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience designing innovative learning
- Experience with creating training plans, learning paths and e-learning courses
- Experience with management of LMS
- Experience with managing a team of trainers
- Bilingual fluency is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, Health Care, Instructional Design, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
