- Responsible for driving Visa Commercial Solutions business growth with Global Accounts operating across different Visa regions
- Learn and understand the client business in-depth, recognizing the nuances, opportunities and workstreams of the account holistically i.e. segments, business lines, client base, operating model, market coverage, etc.
- Work closely with Market, Partnerships and Emerging segments team to monitor the ecosystem, identify key opportunities for growth and generate leads for these accounts to enable and generate incremental volume for Visa
- Be Visa’s key point of contact for these accounts and be the business interface for these clients, to identify and secure new opportunities, establish preference for Visa payments and solutions, develop strategic relationships with business leaders and lead the account planning and execution processes for the designated clients
- Drive positive business outcomes – establish fluency in all Visa (issuer) solutions and communicate and articulate all aspects of Visa value propositions for strategic partners, consultatively identify and prioritize partner needs and craft tailored solutions that drive specific commercial metrics (e.g. deployment of digital products, acceptance solutions, value added services, commercial solutions, issuer business growth, Visa growth) and achieving it by understanding the clients’ businesses.
- Work closely with the client account team on the expansion of Visa acceptance by matching Visa objectives and solutions to partners’ business development plans, including: new use cases, expansion into new markets, growth sectors, non-card payments, omni-channel solutions and terminalization
- Support the key foundational aspects of the partners’ businesses in partnership with the key SME’s/functional teams across Visa, including: Product & Solutions, Client Services, Visa membership/licensing, legal/regulatory requirements, client operational optimization, rules/product/technology change, rules compliance, technological resilience, business continuity and strategy
- Establish strong internal partnerships and manage direct/ indirect teams across Visa– partner with functions across Visa (e.g., sub-regional leadership, global Strategic Partnership, Client Services, CMS and MMS Global, Regional Product teams and Strategy) to collaboratively deliver on responsibilities for various issuer and enabler outcomes
- Develop a broad understanding of issues and trends affecting the payments landscape and support the client in developing a strategic vision and roadmap to meet their long term objectives
- Strive to deliver Visa goals and be a role model for Visa’s leadership principles
- Ensure the client is supported on their day to day operational activities deterring them from driving business growth
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
- Deep understanding of the Global payments landscape, particularly B2B payments and the technology / SaaS ecosystem
- Experienced, results-oriented account executive with sound experience and a proven track record in managing important clients (ideally issuer), developing relationships and sales partnerships.
- Experience in bigtech / fintech, retail / digital banking or consulting / corporate strategy with a proven track record of executing projects for high-performing cross-functional teams
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment navigating ambiguity successfully. Prior experience leading global/regional projects and strategic initiatives.
- Data-driven, superior analytical skills with the ability and experience of building sound business cases, partner account plans, strategic plans relevant to the market, and multi-year partnerships.
- Strong strategic and thought leadership skills and experience with client consulting projects.
- Exceptional ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships
- Willingness to travel periodically as required
- Vertical / segment expertise and understanding of the Fintech / Enabler space
- Fluent in English and preferably another European language
