We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director to join our dynamic Digital Transformation team, which works with biopharma clients to design and implement solutions to enable data-driven strategies and tactics. In this role, you will manage multiple client accounts and lead digital transformation initiatives to develop and deliver excellence to clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including our sales and delivery teams, product managers, technology experts and data scientists to develop and implement digital solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong business and digital transformation and analytics background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for leveraging transformation expertise to advance life sciences. This role requires a deep understanding of biopharma business processes and data sources, as well as the technical aspects of data & analytics infrastructure design & implementation.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in translating business needs and data & analytics use cases into technology solutions. Depending on a client’s needs, the range of solutions may include partnering with other technology vendors and/or leveraging Ambit products & services. 

As a Director, Digital Transformation you will:  

  • Serve as primary point of contact for multiple client accounts leading digital transformation initiatives from conception to implementation, working closely to understand their business challenges and objectives. 
  • Identify opportunities for additional engagements based on client needs, leading client business development and supporting the proposal and contract process while partnering with our sales and delivery team leaders. 
  • Lead a team on high quality and on time delivery, ensuring high-level of client satisfaction and repeat business/referrals.  
  • Collaborate with client business stakeholders to understand and document their data and analytics use cases; and map product, financial and/or patient workflows to identify where data needs to be captured or exchanged.  
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' data, analytics, and technology capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Develop and execute digital transformation strategies aligned with clients' business goals, leveraging technology and innovation to drive growth and efficiency. 
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients on best practices for digital transformation, including organizational change management, data analytics and technology adoption, and process optimization. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including our product and technology experts, data scientists and analysts to develop and implement digital solutions. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements. 
  • Communicate project design, strengths, and weaknesses, and adapt project design based on client feedback. Ability to clearly communicate in structured and unstructured interactions. 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic account and customer management within a management or life sciences consulting firm.  
  • Primary/leadership responsibility for client management and successfully delivered resulting in additional follow-on work with the same client.   
  • Demonstrated ability to build a client project pipeline 
  • 5+ years of experience leading Digital Transformation programs and projects. 
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, commercial operations, and analytics within the pharmaceutical/biopharma/biotech sector. 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex digital transformation initiatives for clients in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology and/or life science industries. 
  • Deep understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. 
  • Experience across various data transformation project types involving automation, data analytics system builds/upgrades, application development, system/platform integrations. 
  • Familiarity and experience with secondary data sources such as claims data (835/837), EMR/EHR, EDI 852/867, sell-in data, Rx dispense, formulary data, as well as digital and sales force execution data. 
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 

Base Salary is $175,000 - $200,000 plus bonus and incentives
