About the Arbol Sales Team
The Arbol sales team is responsible for the business development activities of global climate and weather risk solutions with clients and intermediaries. The origination activities leverage traditional existing distribution channels (including brokers and other intermediaries) as well as direct marketing of some of Arbol’s products.

About the Role
Arbol is seeking an experienced sales professional with specialized knowledge of the agroindustry sector. The ideal candidate is interested in playing a leadership role in the positioning of parametric insurance products globally within the large corporate agribusiness sector. We've been working to provide our global salesforce with a mature set of insurance/reinsurance programs that can support the company’s ambitious growth plans for the global agriculture and commodities markets. We've secured flexible and scalable support from different global reinsurers, which offers a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial sales professional to engage with the large agribusiness conglomerates globally in offering innovative risk management tools to improve the risk/return profile of their investments and businesses tied to the agriculture sector.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the design of Arbol’s parametric insurance strategy for the agroindustry sector.
  • Lead the joint origination program directed to large agribusiness conglomerates with a top-10 global insurance company for providing innovative covers for larger investors and businesses in the renewable sector.
  • Lead the development of new product offerings for the agribusiness market segment.

What You'll Need

  • 15+ years of proven, hands-on working within the agribusiness industry or servicing the agroindustry conglomerates in/for key strategic areas of relevance for Arbol interests: CFO office [familiarity with financing structure of this market and with risk hedging strategies], Risk Officer [positive track record of implementing innovative risk management strategies] 
  • Willingness to act as strategic leader of the agribusiness market segment, but also interested as to act as lead originator with clients.

What's Great to Have

  • Relevant experience in mapping weather exposure to agribusiness risk/return profile of its business activities.
  • Credible track record of executing innovative financial risk management products for this market segment.
