The Role
The Director Clinical Data Strategy requires a deep understanding of the clinical space, clinical data management, and the associated EDC/eClinical applications used to manage clinical trial data. The Clinical Data Strategy must demonstrate the ability to drive adoption discussions based on credibility and knowledge across multiple domains: including pharma/biotech, CRO, and technology partnership. The Clinical Data Strategy must demonstrate the ability to challenge customers to adopt new operating models and change their traditional way of thinking.
Vault Clinical Data comprises EDC, Clinical Database, ePRO, and RTSM. This role will be responsible for driving Clinical Data market strategy and growth, working with the sales team, ensuring customer success, and developing the market approach. To achieve these goals the Clinical Data strategy will need to demonstrate deep data management or clinical operations knowledge and awareness, connect with clinical and data management leaders deliver strategic plans that demonstrate customer success.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for growing and sustaining the customer base for Clinical Data
- Develop and execute the Clinical Data vision
- Use professional networks and relationships to assist with adoption
- Provide thought leadership and act as a trusted partner to sales and sales consulting in helping define sales strategy to drive new opportunities
- Provide business and technology expertise to the product team in support of new or enhanced features and functionality
- Build a relationship with the local community to influence the market
- Presenting at industry conferences, leading webinars, and authoring articles for industry publications
Requirements
- Direct experience with EDC in various roles such as SC, Sales, Data Manager, BD
- 7+ years experience in the clinical and pharmaceutical industry
- Native Chinese speaker; confident English communicator who can work directly with Veeva's global team
- Strong critical and analytical thinking, willing/able to dive into details
- Can articulate opinions and discuss sometimes conflicting views
- Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations
