Director, Client Leadership

This role will join our client leadership team, reporting to the SVP, Client Leadership.

As an Account Director, you will help manage and grow client accounts, overseeing successful planning and execution of event experiences. You will promote creative work, be a true partner to clients, and show a passion for the brand and category.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a main point of escalation for those that are day-to-day
  • Understand clients' project objectives, goals and challenges to provide strategic recommendations and corresponding scopes of work
  • Stay current on industry trends and happenings with client category and event best practices and champion relevant and inciteful thought leadership to your team and clients
  • Own the event planning processes, timelines and comms with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide day-to-day brand guidance, direction, and support to all brand services team members
  • Lead the development and execution of medium/large-scale projects with support from the wider team and agency through creative ideation, production, and execution
  • Work closely with production and project management for both large and smaller scale activations
  • Track overall performance and health of the projects
  • Streamline communications to ensure there is brand x central x field awareness and alignment
  • Lead projects that drive work improvements or efficiencies
  • Lead and mentor a small account team through engaging career development practices
  • Create applicable development plans for direct reports
  • Provide honest and valuable counsel to senior account team
  • Collaborate with agency partners as an IAT leader
  • Fuel agency culture, inspire and generate positive morale
  • Socialize success and opportunities to internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Minimum 10 years related work experience in experiential or field marketing
  • Minimum 5 years experience delivering successful experiential projects for clients
    • Experience executing experiential events / projects within a marketing or communications environment
    • Experience working with large consumer brands in the hospitality, alcohol, and sports/entertainment industry
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial capacity
  • Experience creating client-facing presentations
  • Strong budget management skills and experience
  • Ability to work within a cross functional team (in person and remote)
  • Knowledge and experience in spirits / beer industry

 

Location

This is a hybrid position with the office location being New York City. Based on the type of client work, travel may be required, including, visiting client offices, project site visits, and time on site for project executions.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000 - $152,375 / year.

Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
