About the Team:

Our Business Development team is composed of talented professionals who are passionate about driving growth. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations and collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to generate high-quality prospects and accelerate revenue generation. Our primary hub of Business Development professionals is in Austin, Texas, but we have a dispersed team of experts across the United States and EMEA.

About the Responsibilities:

  • Execute an aggressive business development strategy to achieve team goals on a monthly basis - meetings, opportunities and pipeline
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and operational procedures to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Business Development function.
  • Manage a team of leaders and assist in their professional development through coaching and leading from the front, with a focus on data-driven performance management.  
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships across our Sales Function, Operational leaders, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Hire quality candidates to keep up with company growth and strive to improve the productivity of new hires through robust onboarding and training programs.
  • Provide recommendations for improving outbound strategy for building a pipeline, leveraging data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Position the team for growth by increasing the productivity and yield of each Business Development Rep, utilizing performance metrics and data-driven insights.
  • Operate effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, maintaining a focus on data integrity and accuracy in reporting.  
  • Continuously analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance team performance and goal attainment.

About You:

  • Significant experience working as a strategic and operational leader of a Business Development Function, preferably gained within an international SaaS environment.  
  • You have experience working not only as a Business Development leader, but you have also worked as an Account Executive and understand the needs in the field.  
  • You will have experienced rapid growth and have experience setting up the function to scale.  
  • History of consistently achieving sales goals, with a demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to drive performance.  
  • Track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and accountability.  
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities and experience in Salesforce; proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
