The Role:  

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our award winning consumer team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with powerhouse brands, leading at both global and local levels, and be a part of a truly integrated team that spans corporate, consumer, and social disciplines. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on varied and innovative projects that consistently clean up at Cannes Lions, backed by healthy and growing budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Lead and nurture client relationships with global and local brands, ensuring strategic and effective communication plans that exceed client expectations and deliver measurable results.
  • Campaign Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative, integrated PR campaigns that align with brand objectives and generate strong media and consumer engagement.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the planning and execution of major PR initiatives, for example: 
    • Launching groundbreaking innovation products, managing UK press office, and orchestrating an integrated global launch featuring high-profile celebrity ambassadors, such as world-famous Olympians 
    • Supporting a major client’s partnership with premier league football teams, both globally and in the UK, driving awareness and fan engagement through strategic PR and creative activations
    • Developing and executing creative concept campaigns that capitalise on high-profile partnerships and drive brand visibility and engagement across key markets 
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a hybrid team of professionals across consumer, corporate, and social disciplines, ensuring high standards of delivery, performance, and development 
  • Media Relations: Leverage an extensive network of media contacts to secure impactful coverage for clients across traditional and digital platforms, ensuring strategic positioning and visibility 
  • Measurement & Reporting: Set clear KPIs and oversee the measurement of campaign impact and effectiveness, delivering detailed reports and insights to clients to demonstrate ROI and campaign success 

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in consumer PR, with significant experience at a senior account director or associate director level
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large scale, high budget earned campaigns and achieve award winning results 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a hybrid team
  • Excellent client management skills, with experience handling major global and local brands 
  • Outstanding media relations skills with an established network of contacts 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an integrated agency environment across multiple disciplines (corporate, consumer, and social etc..) 
  • Strong organisational, communication, and presentation skills
