The Global Engineering Manager – Application Scaffolding will be responsible for all application and static engineering for scaffolding as well as the establishment of global engineering centres to support our globally dispersed operating regions and countries.
Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering & Technical, you will act as a senior member of the Engineering & Technical department, acting as the global SME for application & static engineering as well as developing & implementing a structure to support the growth of our global business.
A key initiative for this position will be aligning with AT-PAC and Doka regional management & engineering resources to provide a common approach towards application and static engineering for scaffolding as well as defining, developing, and implementing global engineering centres for scaffolding (in some instances utilizing existing infrastructure & resources). You will work alongside our functional Product & Technical teams to provide engineering support, structure and resources to our regions. You will oversee calculations & analysis for application engineering solutions and perform a detailed review of testing data for the creation of technical documentation that aids in providing engineering solutions and responding to complex technical/ engineering questions from our customers globally. You will work with a diverse global team supporting AT-PAC’s global growth.
- Must have an equivalent of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Must have 8+ years of engineering management experience and demonstrate capability in leading a team or working in a cross functional type organization structure
- Experience being involved in global assignments or an understanding of executing engineering in a lower cost country (would be preferred)
- Scaffolding field experience and/or knowledge and experience of providing engineering support for products.
- Competence in speech and writing at a technical level
