Team Summary
The Regional New Business Development team is responsible for growing the acceptance and usage of Cybersource throughout the Asia Pacific (AP) region. The team is responsible for targeting net new merchants, acquirers and payment service providers as well as other companies accepting or facilitating payments to add them to our growing client portfolio. This team also works closely with other Visa teams to offer Visa acceptance solutions for checkout, processing, analytics, fraud, security and other digital solutions in the AP region.
What a Regional New Business Development Director does at Visa
- Identify prospects, drive pipeline development, manage the sales process and close new business specifically for thein-store channel
- Effectively lead revenue generation while meeting strategic business objectives
- Design and execute strategic sales plans and campaigns
- Collaborate with Cybersource market leads to identify, qualify and progress sales with prospects or cross-sell of other Visa acceptance solutions to existing Cybersource clients
- Meet or exceed challenging sales goals
- Actively contribute to the evolving business and product strategy
- Aid in the completion and presentation of RFPs and RFIs
- Work closely with our Product Management team to maintain technical and functional knowledge of existing and new products
- Travel will be required
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree (MBA desired)
- Fluent in English (Mandarin desirable)
- 12+ years of B2B enterprise software or technology consultative sales experience
- Experience in card present and omni-channel solution selling in sales or product roles
- Strong knowledge of merchant and acquiring card present payment industry landscape in Asia Pacific region
- Experience in working with technology solution providers & payment facilitators
- Strong written and verbal communication and excellent presentation skills
- Strong background with demonstrated success closing high volume business
- Experience with managing longer sales cycles and driving multiple simultaneous opportunities to success
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills
