The Role
We are looking for an Digital PR Analyst to join our growing team at Wpromote to help ideate and implement Digital PR data campaigns for clients. Our ideal candidate will have experience creating unique datasets via public data sources, surveys, Google Trends, and more for Digital PR campaigns. You should have experience using public data sources to create proprietary data sets for clients and extensive experience working in Google Sheets. You should also have some knowledge of outreach prospecting and/or Digital PR outreach. Qualified candidates should enjoy working in a team environment and feel comfortable collaborating with clients and SEO, Content Marketing, and Earned Strategy teammates.
A successful candidate is someone who has worked with public sources like the U.S. Census and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, someone who lives and breathes statistics, who enjoys telling stories through data, and loves creating custom campaigns for clients. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $55,000 - $70,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

You Will Be
- Developing and managing unique datasets for Digital PR campaigns using various public data sources.
- Brainstorming creative content ideas that fit client needs.
- Conducting surveys and utilizing Google Trends to gather data.
- Creating proprietary data sets for clients, ensuring data integrity and relevance.
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams, including SEO and Content Marketing, to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Utilizing Google Sheets extensively for data management and analysis.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data management and Digital PR.
- Communicating methodologies to clients in a simple-to-understand format
- Assessing content placement opportunities and developing strategies to meet client goals
- Managing both traditional outreach activities and Digital PR engagements
- Tracking Offsite KPIs and assembling reports and insights
You Must Have
- 1+ years of experience in a data collection or data analysis role, including creating data sets in a digital agency environment or in-house
- 1+ years experience in Offsite SEO or Digital PR, including prospecting and outreach, in a digital agency environment or in-house (preferred but not required)
- 1+ years of client-facing experience
- Familiarity with using public sources for data collection like The U.S. Census, The Bureau of Labor Statistics, and more
- Proficient with using survey tools like Pollfish, mturk, and Prolific
- Familiarity building databases to analyze information from multiple sources
- Familiarity using tools for outreach like Pitchbox and Cision (or comparable platforms)
- Understanding of the basics of SEO concepts including keyword research, and backlink auditing using Ahrefs and Semrush (or comparable platforms)
- Experience with Google Analytics for analyzing website traffic and performance
- Advanced level of understanding of Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and have a strong level of Internet proficiency
- Ability to quickly pick up new skills and learn new tasks
- Proven track record of successful project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to hit and exceed deadlines required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, while paying close attention to detail
- A proactive approach to collaborating with others
