This Role

We are seeking an Assistant to work in our buying team within our Digital Trading team to ensure that content is efficiently uploaded across our luxury partner’s websites (Harrods, Selfridges, BT etc); managing the distribution of product information and imagery to all teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to forge a career in e-commerce within an exciting head office retail environment. You will gain experience of luxury brands, e-comm know how, as well as the fundamentals that go into buying and creating an assortment for online. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, enjoy building positive relationships across a broad network of contacts, along with a keen eye for detail and high standards of accuracy.

Key responsibilities will include providing support for the Luxury Partner Digital team, including running delivery reports, ensuring products are on site in a timely manner and being the first point of contact for the buying and merchandising teams.

Requirements

  • Responsible for sending product data and imagery to partner concession websites using internal product information management (PIM) systems
  • Responsible for the update and management of photography reports
  • Responsible for weekly product submissions to external partners for newness
  • Ensures product is online in a timely manner and raise to relevant partners if there are discrepancies
  • Ensures that product & branding is accurate and comprehensive, prices are correct and products are correctly categorised
  • Produce weekly warehouse delivery summary
  • Manage delivery tracker for Luxury partners
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to reduce delivery delays to partner warehouses
  • Manage stock and data feed issues to ensure product is showing correctly on partner sites
  • Is first point of contact for B&M queries
  • Ensures promotional events and price changes are live as planned on the appropriate sites
  • Regular site walks to ensure all available lines are on site
  • Weekly review of best and worst sellers across all sites
  • Support Head of Online and Senior Digital Partner Merchandiser with ad hoc reporting and administrative tasks

Person

  • Able to work quickly and efficiently with an excellent eye for detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong team player with the ability to make and maintain connections across the business
  • Experienced in Microsoft word, Excel, and Powerpoint as well as other content management systems
  • Enjoys a fast pace environment
  • Highly organised and exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to proactively work around obstacles, using own initiative to identify and propose solutions
