This role will be based on site at either of our locations: Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Digital Media Analyst to join our Brand Partnerships team in Los Angeles on a contract basis for four months. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maximizing the impact of our brand partnerships by analyzing advertising campaign performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize strategies. You will work closely with the Brand Partnerships, Marketing, and Content teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across all our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand partnerships across various digital platforms (i.e., YouTube via Google Ad Manager and Google Ads, social media platforms, websites, etc.).
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to visualize campaign performance, highlighting key trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
- Analyze audience engagement, reach, and demographics to assess campaign effectiveness and identify target audience insights.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of branded content integrations within Moonbug's IP.
- Data-Driven Optimization:
- Leverage data analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing brand partnership campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign targeting, creative execution, and media placement to maximize performance against KPIs
- Collaborate with the Media Ops team to develop data-informed strategies for future campaigns.
- Market Research & Trend Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends in digital media consumption, children's entertainment, and brand partnerships.
- Analyze competitor activities and industry best practices to inform Moonbug's brand partnership strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging digital channels for continuous learning and campaign innovation.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and data-driven decision-making.
- Clearly communicate data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, using storytelling to make data impactful.
- Tools & Technologies:
- Utilize various analytics platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, social media analytics tools) to gather and analyze data.
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Looker Studio to create compelling reports and dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in digital media analysis, preferably within the entertainment or children's media industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in using analytics platforms and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Passion for children's entertainment and a strong understanding of digital media trends.
- Experience working with Google advertising platforms (Google Ad Manager, Google Ads) social media platforms
- Certifications such as Google Analytics and Google Ads are a plus
- Programmatic ad buying is a plus.

Weekly Rate: $1,442-1,538 (Depending on experience)
