Role Purpose
The Digital Engagement Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving the creative development and execution of digital campaigns across multiple platforms. This role involves fostering innovation, leading a team of creative professionals, and ensuring that all digital engagement efforts align with the brand's objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social channels, paid social advertising, and email marketing and experience with Agile methodologies to manage design projects effectively. This position requires strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and excellent time management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Principal Accountabilities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Creative Development & Innovation:
· Develop and execute innovative digital engagement strategies that resonate with target audiences.
2. Leadership & Talent Development:
· Mentor and manage a team of creative professionals, providing performance feedback and career development opportunities.
· Identify and nurture talent within the team to maximise productivity and achieve the best creative outcomes.
3. Stakeholder Management:
· Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all digital engagement efforts align with business objectives and brand guidelines.
· Manage relationships with internal and external partners to drive successful campaign execution.
4. Agile Methodologies & Resource Allocation:
· Use Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage design projects, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of campaigns.
· Allocate resources effectively to maximise productivity and meet project deadlines.
5. Social Media & Paid Advertising Expertise:
· Leverage deep knowledge of social channels to reach target audiences in chosen markets effectively.
· Oversee the development and execution of paid social advertising campaigns, optimising performance, and engagement.
6. Email Marketing & A/B Testing:
· Manage email marketing efforts to improve campaign effectiveness, including A/B testing and metrics analysis.
· Ensure all email content is optimised for engagement and aligned with brand messaging.
7. Copywriting & Brand Management:
· Maintain a strong eye for copy, ensuring that all digital content aligns with the brand’s voice and guidelines.
· Oversee the consistency and quality of all creative work, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
8. Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving:
· Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform long-term digital engagement strategies.
· Develop creative solutions to complex challenges, ensuring that campaigns are innovative and effective.
9. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:
· Implement and maintain QA processes to ensure all digital campaigns meet quality standards.
· Continuously seek opportunities for improvement, applying lessons learned to future campaigns.
10. User-Centric Design & AI Integration:
· Incorporate user feedback and behaviour analysis into digital engagement strategies to enhance user experience.
· Explore and integrate AI approaches to support and enhance creative processes.
11. Time Management & Multi-Project Handling:
· Manage multiple digital engagement projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
· Prioritise tasks effectively to maximise productivity and deliver high-quality results on time.
12. Talent Development:
· Identify and nurture talent within the team, providing opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.
· Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Essential Competencies
· Must have 6+ years of relevant experience in similar role.
· Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related field, focusing on campaign development and execution.
· Strong understanding of paid social advertising, email marketing, and A/B testing.
· Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a challenging environment.
· Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
· Knowledge of AI and its applications in digital engagement is a plus.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
