Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Digital Content Administrator to support our content team. Our ideal candidate will be fluent in the digital landscape with experience in uploading and managing content on one or more CMSes (eg Wordpress, Drupal etc).  The successful incumbent will play a key role in assisting the Digital Content Project Manager with day-to-day administrative support on both a small and complex scale, along with data gathering, organisation and upload to our in-house systems and CMSs. Our ideal candidate will have excellent time management, communication and organizational skills, and will be detail oriented, a multitasker and quick to learn new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Digital Content Project Manager to deliver tasks successfully and on time   
  • Oversee day-to-day CMS administration   
  • Upload of content inventory to Content Management Systems (CMS)  
  • Assist in achieving daily deliverables  
  • Ensure content is kept up to date across multiple platforms  
  • Mine large datasets to extract, analyse and cross-reference content   
  • Troubleshoot and correct any system errors  
  • Manage multiple languages within CMS  

Requirements

  • Please note this is Hybrid working and only applicants based in Cape Town will be considered
  • Matric with 2 years’ experience in the field of digital administration 
  • Tertiary education advantageous  
  • Experienced working on online CMS systems  
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience working with large datasets (advanced Excel advantageous)

  • Sharp eye for errors and impeccable attention to detail  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Highly organized and comfortable working on different tasks simultaneously   
  • Excellent time management and able to deliver work set to tight deadlines  
  • Have a structured approach to responsibilities and tasks
