What we're looking for:

We are seeking a proactive Digital Account Executive to bridge the gap between our clients and our internal teams within the digital realm. This role demands a fervent dedication to fostering creative collaborations, a profound comprehension of digital advertising strategies, and a client-centric approach tailored specifically to the digital landscape. The ideal candidate will embody a blend of unwavering professionalism, adaptability, and an insatiable drive for continuous advancement and learning in the ever-evolving realm of digital advertising.

 

To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:

  • Proactively anticipates potential outcomes of events during project planning and implements necessary actions to ensure projects remain on schedule within the digital sphere.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients regarding all logistical issues related to digital campaigns and initiatives.
  • Cultivates robust and constructive relationships with key client and agency personnel on a day-to-day basis within the digital realm.
  • Demonstrates exceptional listening skills to accurately understand and address client needs and concerns in the digital landscape.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the pivotal factors influencing profit and loss in digital advertising initiatives.
  • Manages the accuracy and timeliness of estimating and invoicing processes specific to digital projects.
  • Recognizes and appreciates the broader business context in which digital advertising operates and actively seeks to broaden business acumen.
  • Demonstrates a foundational understanding of the essential components of the digital communications mix.
  • Exercises sound creative judgment tailored to digital platforms and content.
  • Familiarity with and utilization of discipline-specific digital tools, including but not limited to the Ogilvy 360 and Brand Stewardship toolbox.
  • Oversees the efficient administration of digital projects from all angles, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Serves as the linchpin of the digital account handling team, adeptly managing administrative tasks with utmost efficiency.
  • Ensures prompt and accurate dissemination of information to all relevant departments within the agency pertaining to digital projects.
  • Cultivates excellent relationships with all departments, particularly creative, fostering an environment conducive to the development of outstanding digital work.
  • Generates regular status reports for each digital account, providing comprehensive updates on project progress.
  • Organizes regular internal status meetings specific to digital projects to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Coordinates client meetings and associated requirements, including logistics such as room booking, catering, and presentation setup for digital-focused discussions.
  • Records all client meetings and generates accurate contact reports, distributing them within 24 hours to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintains a centralized filing system for digital project documentation, ensuring easy accessibility and organization.
  • Conducts quality checks on all digital work leaving the agency to uphold standards of excellence.
  • Maintains familiarity with agency operations beyond the scope of Account Management, particularly within the digital domain.
  • Regularly monitors and analyzes competitive digital advertising and product activities to inform strategy and innovation.
  • Provides prompt and comprehensive responses to all client queries related to digital projects.
  • Demonstrates unwavering commitment and drive to produce exceptional digital advertising content.
  • Collaborates with creative teams to develop relevant presentation materials tailored to digital platforms for new projects.
  • Exercises budget control for digital accounts based on guidance from Account Managers/Directors.
  • Holds regular status meetings with Financial/Production Controllers to ensure financial alignment for digital projects.
  • Ensures prompt resolution of Work In Progress (WIP) for digital initiatives.
  • Proactively follows up with clients for payment of digital project invoices and addresses invoice queries promptly.
  • Conducts reconciliation of each digital project within three months of completion.
  • Assists Account Managers in the production of digital campaigns, providing support as needed.
  • Updates the Traffic Manager promptly on any changes to the status of digital projects.
  • Reviews the status of all digital projects with the Traffic Manager on a weekly basis to maintain alignment and progress.
  • Initiates the creation of Job Numbers for digital projects as needed and closes out completed projects in a timely manner.
  • Submits timing plans and estimates to clients for digital projects, providing clear timelines and deliverable expectations.
  • Communicates revisions to timing plans and estimates promptly to clients, obtaining approval for supplementary estimates when necessary.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience working within the digital/social agency space.
  • Exceptional written and presentation communication skills, with confidence in engaging with senior brand managers and partner agencies within the digital realm.
  • Understanding of brand marketing mix, ensuring seamless integration and amplification of digital strategies with more traditional channels.
  • Positive outlook that contributes to a thriving company culture and fosters healthy business relationships.
