Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Die Setter who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to the Production Supervisor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To efficiently and safely make highly complex setups, initial sample complex setups on hydraulic and mechanical equipment in molding and sizing operations with minimal assistance
- To efficiently and safely operate equipment, including the making of satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality. This includes the ability to adjust furnace temperature and/or belt speed
- Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information
- Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to insure continuation of control conditions
- Provide active input to continuous process improvement
- Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors and others with a need to know.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas
- May be assigned the leadoff duties, directing the dept. in absence of the supervisory force and assist at other times
- Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
