The opportunity:
The position calls for a technically-minded all-rounder with experience in the hospitality, retail and commercial sectors. In this exciting position, you will be involved in the technical documentation of projects and crucial oversight during the construction phase.
Throughout this process you will have the opportunity to hone your site management and communication skills. In this role, you will present internally and externally with clarity and a sound understanding of technical feasibility.
Salary is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design development (technical development in adherence to regulations)
- Generate technical and construction documentation package
- Liaise with suppliers, and site and project managers
- Facilitate project handover
- Act as brand ambassador
Requirements
- Tertiary Technical Interior Design qualification
- 5+ years’ experience (in corporate interior design and space planning)
- Clear understanding of construction methods
- Extensive knowledge of the local supplier market and service delivery in South Africa
- A consistent and methodical approach
- The ability to collaborate and adapt
- Excellent English language skills
- Excellent AutoCad, Sketchup and Revit skills
- Eligibility to work in South Africa
