As a DevOps specialist (SRE), you will play an important role in the R&D and Innovation department, working closely with the product and architecture teams to help them evolve in a context of rapid company expansion.
You will play a central role in the implementation of robust and scalable software systems, as well as in the evolution of our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure, all within a cloud-based operating context.
What you'll do:
- Play a central role in the design, implementation and evolution of the company's DevOps practices.
- Improve our infrastructure and software by collaborating extensively with the core architecture and product-aligned teams to identify and deliver improvements that enhance site availability through scalable, secure, cost-effective and resilient architectures.
- Participate in the design, deployment and optimization of development and production infrastructures.
- Participate in the automation of DevOps processes and application of cloud best practices.
- Participate in the implementation and evolution of our monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
- Become part of the “balanced on-call” team in order to keep services available and reliable.
- Manage incidents and emergency response, track outages, ensure data integrity and participate in release management to promote safe, efficient and rapid deployments.
Who you are:
- 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, system administration, DevOps or related software engineering roles.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its on-demand infrastructure capabilities
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as code) tools.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipeline concepts, containerization and deployment.
- Mastery of PowerShell and the .NET technology environment
- Advanced knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Service Bus, Kafka), knowledge of logging and monitoring systems.
- Ability to communicate in English. Working proficiency in French an asset.
- Experience in healthcare and medical informatics, an asset.
