- Lead and oversee the operational efficiency of production systems, ensuring minimal downtime and swift restoration of services within SLAs.
- Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting critical technical issues and identifying root causes of infrastructure challenges.
- Manage system operations using tools like Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud-based solutions.
- Drive automation and process improvements through scripting in Python, Bash, and Terraform.
- Lead the planning and execution of upgrades, deployments, and system integrations across environments.
- Ensure test systems are maintained and up to date, coordinating closely with development teams.
- Identify, propose, and implement improvements and product enhancements to optimize performance and scalability.
- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, with at least 2 years in an architectural or senior position.
- Proven track record in managing and troubleshooting production/test systems, including root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Expertise in technologies such as Nginx, HAProxy, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Proficient in a few scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript
- Good understanding in RESTful web services, data formats like JSON and XML.
- Solid experience with SQL, writing/executing queries, and working with databases.
- Expertise in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or similar tools.
- Mobile DevOps experience is a plus
- Both Cloud and On-premise system management experience is an added advantage.
