DevOps Engineer

Sparta currently has a fantastic opportunity for a driven and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our growing Engineering team, based in Spain. You will be an integral part of the infrastructure team helping to implement and maintain the AWS infrastructure, designing future changes for the architecture, monitoring services, managing infrastructure costs, and planning for future expenditures. 

We are a fully remote company with a modern tech stack, and we strive for fast deployments to support the rapid growth we are experiencing, this hire is key to our continued success. 

Requirements 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an AWS Architect.
• Proficient in CDK.
• Previous exposure to Amazon MSK (Kafka), Lambda, RDS, VPC, networking, Fargate, and Redshift.
• Familiarity with Serverless technology.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and deployment protocols.
• Proficiency in system monitoring and audit processes.
• Demonstrated ability in designing high-availability architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Bonus Points  

• Previous involvement in trading or fintech sectors.
• Experience contributing to a startup or scaleup growth stage.
• Familiarity with SOC2 or ISO27001 standards.
• Proficiency in using Datadog.
• Knowledge of Terraform would be advantageous.
• Experience in network infrastructure and security protocols.
