Responsibilities:

• Setting up and maintaining software tools, middleware, etc.
• Managing the company's Linux and VMWare infrastructure
• Automating and improving development and release processes
• Keeping systems up-to-date and secure
• Monitoring the performance of applications
• Investigating problems and helping resolve issues spanning across systems
• Implementing integrations between systems
• Working closely with the development and infrastructure teams to provide optimal technical solutions

Requirements:

• 3+ years of as a DevOps Engineer or any related Engineering role
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins) and Git workflow
• Log management tools (e.g. ELK stack)
• Web servers essentials (e.g. Apache, Nginx)
• Team work and great communication skills
• Excellent command of the English language

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in Linux and VMWare administration
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific field preferred
• Java app server essentials (e.g. JBoss, Weblogic)
• Certifications in any of the above subjects/technologies will be an advantage
