DevOps Engineer

MyHeritage is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer who will take an active role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure. In this position, you will implement crucial DevOps tasks and lead our efforts to drive cost efficiency and financial optimization across our cloud operations. If you bring a solid background in DevOps practices, an analytical mindset geared towards cost-saving opportunities, and a desire to foster growth within our team, we’d love for you to join us.

What you'll do

• Implement DevOps tasks and assist team members as part of the team’s ongoing development
• Lead the financial optimization domain in the DevOps group
• Create cost reports and dashboards and promote FinOps culture in the R&D department
• Identify cost saving opportunities and monitor and analyze cloud costs
• Stay updated on AWS cost management tools and best practices
• Build and Analyze a financial forecast by defining a discount and saving programs
• Support and mentor DevOps team members

What you bring

• At least 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar position — must 
• Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, VPC, Lambda)  — must
• Experience in automated provisioning, maintaining, and management of cloud resources in AWS
• Experience in AWS cost and pricing methodologies 
• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and rightsizing techniques
• Proactive and can-do approach
• Ability and drive to learn new technologies
• Problem-solving and creative thinking
• Desire to support and mentor other DevOps team members
