We are looking for is an experienced DevOps engineer with a passion for systems automation. You will be responsible for managing innovation in our software release processes, increase the robustness and automation. In this role, you will help bring significant gains to how we build and deploy software, all towards the end- goal of achieving releases that are swift, predictable and of the highest quality.
Experience and responsibilities
Manage all aspects of CI/CD using Jenkins pipelines, GitHub, spinnaker.
Configure and maintain Infrastructure orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform onto AWS platform.
Manage Apache Kafka for event streaming and REST Proxy.
Manage and develop ELK stack for improved logging and monitoring.
Develop monitoring dashboards using tools like Prometheus, X-Ray, DataDog and Grafana.
Support DevOps processes for Spring Boot, Maven, python and Go based microservices deployment.
Automate and improve existing processes using scripting languages like Shell script, python, groovy, etc.
Work with a specialized team of DevOps and SREs to maintain and improve tech stack.
Employ management systems such as JIRA, Confluence for project and issue tracking.
Oversee release cycles and co-ordinate with Engineering and Operations teams.
Investigate and implement cutting edge tools, best DevOps practices.
Troubleshoot and debug infrastructure, DevOps and application processes if needed.
Qualifications
1-3 years of dedicated DevOps experience.
Good understanding and hands on experience with at least 50% of the tech listed below.
Servers; Apache, Nginx, ElasticSearch
Operating Systems; Centos, Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, or Fedora
Databases; MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Amazon Redshift
PaaS automation tools; Terraform, kubectl, Puppet, Chef.
AWS services; awscli, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, EKS, API Gateway, PrivateLink.
Frameworks & tools: Nagios, Docker, Kafka, Web Sphere Application Server, Kubernetes.
Proficiency with at least one scripting language; Shell scripting, Python, Groovy.
Awareness of Networking protocols: DNS, TCP/IP, FTP, HTTPS, SSH, SFTP, SCP, SSL, ARP, DHCP and POP3
Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed.
Solid team player with the ability to handle tasks independently.
