As a mid-weight DevOps Engineer at Bilue, you’ll contribute to designing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while learning and growing your expertise in automation and deployment. This role is key to supporting the scalability, performance, and security of our cloud-based solutions. Working closely with senior engineers and development teams, you’ll play a hands-on role in managing infrastructure and enabling efficient deployment processes. Key Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless deployment processes.
- Managing AWS infrastructure, including serverless services like Lambda and traditional services such as EC2 and RDS.
- Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for scalable and repeatable management.
- Monitoring and optimising system performance, reliability, and security using AWS-native and third-party tools.
- Collaborating with development teams to streamline deployments and resolve infrastructure challenges.
- Championing DevOps best practices, including automation, monitoring, and incident management.
- Building and maintaining automated testing pipelines to validate infrastructure changes and deployment processes.
- Proven expertise with AWS services like Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, and EC2.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Strong understanding of IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python or Shell.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus is a nice to have, but not essential.
- A background in managing hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments would also be beneficial.
