This role is remote only within the Czech Republic. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic and have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic. 

 

What you’ll do at Jamf:

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. We are looking for a dedicated System Development Engineer to help build and maintain the backend infrastructure that powers the Jamf Cloud. As part of our Brno teams, you could work in a hybrid mode, collaborating both remotely and in the office, as you want. You will play a crucial role in the Enrolment unit, focusing on enrolling devices into the Jamf Security Cloud product. 

 

What you can expect to do in this role: 

  • Containerization: Containerization is integral to our operations. You will work with Kubernetes on a daily basis to manage and orchestrate containers across our infrastructure. 
  • Configuration as Code: Ensure all configurations are managed and applied via Terraform, with everything stored in GitHub.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of CI/CD is a significant advantage. You'll help build pipelines for new services and migrate existing solutions using Jenkins. 
  • Team Support: Regularly support two teams from the enrollment unit, continuously improving their existing services and assisting them in building and running new services in AWS using the CI/CD processes mentioned above. 
  • Platform Development: Contribute to the development of a new shared platform and improvements to our existing cloud platform. Collaborate with talented engineers across Jamf. 
  • Ensure security best practices are identified and integrated into system designs and configuration.  
  • Develop custom tools and automation through programming and scripting.
  • Apply Data Lifecycle Management to sensitive data through backups, permissions management, and auditing.
  • Member of an Agile Teams providing code reviews, velocity estimation, planning input, and participating in other Agile Methodology workflows. 
  • Work and communicate effectively with Product Owners, Development teams, and Cloud and Delivery teams. 

 

What we are looking for:

  • AWS
  • Argo CD
  • EKS,
  • and similar...
