Are you passionate about the newest trends in technology? Do you want to be at the forefront of Long View’s improvement of our cloud management platform solutions?
We are looking for an analytical and creative DevOps System Consultant for our Calgary branch to design, develop, deploy, maintain, and continuously innovate Long View’s automation capabilities! You will be the part of our Automation Services team and work together to solve complex business problems by using integrated technology and tools. The work you do every day will help shape how cloud management technology is used to service Long View and our clients.
A Day in the Life:
Implement and maintain CI/CD infrastructure using Automation Tools (i.e. Ansible) for Data Center Network Automation with Cisco Data Center SDN technologies (ACI, Nexus Dashboard).
Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and resources, to ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of issues.
Work with Network and Lab engineers to deploy Data Center network configurations in an automated fashion.
Fix and resolve automation related issues in development, test, and production environments.
Document processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference and training.
What You Bring:
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, particularly Ansible.
Expertise in Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines and in developing software projects.
Familiarity with version control systems.
Familiarity with REST APIs.
Experience with Python.
Knowledge of Linux (CentOS/RHEL, Ubuntu).
Completed degree in computer science or related discipline.
Familiarity with DevOps principles, Comfortable with Agile practices, software engineering, read and understand the code, etc.
Experience with Data Center network management.
Experience with Cisco Data Center SDN technologies (ACI, Nexus Dashboard).
