Key Duties Include:

Business Intelligence

- Strategic Implementation: Understand our business goals and spearhead strategies within the sector to achieve them.
- Conflict Resolution: Manage conflicts by monitoring new business opportunities, identifying potential conflicts, and connecting the right parties to find solutions.
 
Strategy Formation & Execution

- Edelman Capability Advocacy: Keep abreast of Edelman’s capabilities and serve as a resource to client leads seeking solutions to client challenges.
- White Space Identification: Assist the Global Chair in identifying target areas and opportunities, leveraging the expertise within our network and collaborating with new business teams.
- Emerging Capabilities Development: Support the Global Chair in pinpointing and codifying under-developed capabilities with potential for revenue growth.
 
Innovation & Growth Support

- Best Practice Sharing: Drive innovation by promoting best practices across the global sector, updating the Brand Hub, distributing newsletters, and posting on Workplace.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate connections across offices and business units to enhance quality and efficiency, and reward cross-office/region/Practice/Sector collaboration.
- Employee Training: Partner with Chair/HR to develop and coordinate training content/modules, working with regional and local counterparts for input.
- New Business Leadership: Play a pivotal role in new business activities led by the Global Chair, shaping responses to RFIs/RFPs, and serving as Foreperson for pitches.
- Resource Coordination: Support new business by connecting teams with essential resources, creating or updating sector-specific content, and maintaining knowledge of past materials for repurposing.
 
Content Creation + Internal Community Engagement Support

- Community Building: Build strong internal relationships and maintain knowledge of the sector’s clients and team members; includes management of the teams weekly newsletter
- Knowledge Sharing: Promote a culture of knowledge sharing by facilitating connections and driving community engagement.
- Morale Building: Boost morale by celebrating successes and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Event Management: Organize and manage sector leadership meetings, including agenda, content, logistics, and all other aspects of the events.
- Communication: Partner with the Global Chair to communicate updates and developments, enhancing community cohesion and engagement.
