We are seeking a Development Associate to join our team with a primary focus on upselling and expanding service offerings to our existing restaurant and retail partners. This role will be integral in driving business growth by maximizing the potential of our current partnerships through strategic sales initiatives. The Development Associate will collaborate closely with the Restaurant and Retail Development Managers, as well as our Support and Marketing teams, to ensure our partners are not only well-supported but also continually expanding their use of our services.

What you'll be doing 

  • Upselling Services: Actively engage with existing restaurant and retail partners to identify opportunities for upselling additional services, such as enhanced marketing campaigns, premium features, and additional platform functionalities that drive their success.
  • Partner Engagement & Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with restaurant and retail partners to deeply understand their needs and business goals, proposing tailored solutions to help them grow and thrive on our platform.
  • Performance Analysis & Sales Strategies: Use data and performance metrics to proactively contact partners, offering strategic recommendations to improve their operational efficiency, increase order volume, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work alongside our Marketing team to propose and implement value-added marketing campaigns that drive growth for partners. Collaborate with the Support team on resolving more complex partner-related issues.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Provide ongoing assistance to the restaurant and retail teams as needed, handling additional tasks to ensure the overall success of partner relationships.
  • Sales & Account Management Experience: Proven track record in sales, account management, or business development, ideally with experience in upselling services or working in the restaurant/retail industries.
  • Data-Driven & Strategic Mindset: Ability to analyze performance data to identify opportunities and develop customized strategies for partners that lead to increased sales and improved operational performance.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to various stakeholders and build lasting relationships with partners.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for providing exceptional service and a proactive attitude in helping partners succeed.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex partner issues and turn challenges into opportunities.
  • Multilingual Proficiency: Fluent in Croatian and English, with additional language skills considered an asset.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: A structured, detailed approach to work, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
