As a Developer Relations Engineer, you'll work to build and maintain projects and help showcase Nillion's Technology whilst helping to develop technical content to engage with Web3.0 Community on a global stage. This opportunity will require occasional travel to key industry events including meetups, workshops and presentations.
Requirements
- Work closely with our engineering and product teams to define and enhance the developer experience.
- Draw from your own experience building + community builders to directly influence product development and improvements.
- Help build and maintain example projects that not only demonstrate the capabilities of Nillion's technology but also serve as practical guides for developers looking to implement similar solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, write technical content and release notes, and create systems diagrams that help developers understand and utilize Nillion's features effectively.
- Actively participate in and moderate discussions on platforms like Discord and GitHub. Use these interactions to gather feedback, provide support, and foster a robust community around Nillion’s technology.
- Travel to key industry events and meetups to engage with the community, gather insights, and promote Nillion's technology through workshops and presentations.
- Collaborate regularly with both engineering and product teams to align on developer needs and product capabilities.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure that communications and campaigns accurately reflect the technical depth and innovation of Nillion products.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Solid understanding of software development practices, system architecture, and modern web development.
- Open source contributions with clear, maintainable code and documentation and/or strong technical blogs with
- embedded code examples.
- Community Engagement Skills: Demonstrated ability to engage with and support developers.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with different programming paradigms and environments in both web2 and web3
- Python, JavaScript (TypeScript), Solidity and / or Rust experience
- Cryptography Knowledge, Familiarity with cryptography concepts, especially Multi-Party Computation (MPC) and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE)
- AI Knowledge
