As an O.L Developer at Arabic Computer Systems, you will play a crucial role in creating and enhancing learning materials and elements for various educational initiatives. You will collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop engaging and effective learning experiences. The ideal candidate has a passion for educational technology, strong programming and coding skills, and a deep understanding of learning design principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement interactive learning elements, including interactive presentations, quizzes, games, simulations, and assessments.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to gather requirements and convert them into functional learning elements.
- Ensure the learning elements are user-friendly, accessible, and compatible with different devices and platforms.
- Integrate multimedia elements, such as audio, video, and graphics, into the learning materials.
- Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues related to the learning elements.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the learning experiences.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in e-learning and instructional design.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a developer, preferably in the e-learning industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or Python.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and learning content management systems (LCMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and learning theories is a plus.
