Role: - Desktop Migration Engineer
Technical
· Advanced knowledge in troubleshooting of PC / laptop issues, MS Office Professional 2013, Office 365, Common Internet Browsers across Windows and MAC platforms
· Knowledge to provide support for ERP systems such as BPCS, FouthShift and MSS (Lotus Notes).
· Knowledge of Software Asset management and Housekeeping on IT inventory, which includes PC details. License of all software, Servers and IT peripherals.
· Knowledge of anti-virus, data protection and encryption, VPN
· Knowledge of desktop support, migration and security (McAfee ePO, DLP, Websense, SCCM, Office365)
· Knowledge of virtualization (VMWare, Citrix, VDI-in-a-box) & Citrix (XenServer&XenDesktop)
· Knowledge on application packaging, patching (SCCM) and citrix virtualization
· Knowledge on Active Directory & group policy objects
· Major Incident Management, Understanding of Bridge or WebEx or Remote tool communication (Skype, Lync, Bomgar) and Virtual Network Computing (VNC)
· Working experience on troubleshooting and installing line and zaber printers
· Knowledge of troubleshooting Cisco wireless access points
· Knowledge of troubleshooting and installing Polycom video conference
· Ability to understand the concepts of Change, Requests, Problem, RFIs.
· Ability to identify SIPs & Automation (Autocad)
· Ability to troubleshoot common scenarios with SharePoint
· Ability to troubleshoot analytical tools such as Minitab, Crystal reports
· Knowledge on Windows server and be able to identify key tasks and understand logs and error messages
Traits
· Willing to work in a 24*7 environment
Background
· Prior experience of 8+ years in a service helpdesk / desktop support role is preferred
· International calling experience is preferred
