ABOUT THE POSITION:

At Betting Entertainment Tools unit, we are looking for an experienced designer to take ownership of the creative direction, working closely with the product team to review and set design strategy for our growing portfolio of products and modernization of the existing ones. Our mission is to elevate betting experience through immersive betting solutions that will lead way to a new era of sports betting supported by emerging technologies (computer vision, micro-betting, Generative AI – ChatGPT etc.).

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

We want to empower you to own the work end-to-end. You will be in charge of design perspective all the way from conceptualization in cooperation with Product Owners, to development and QA. You will:

• Mentor and manage a small team of designers to deliver top notch design solutions while working closely with Product owners, Engineers, AI team, and other colleagues through cross-functional departments to implement design.
• Gather and evaluate feedback from various stakeholders, including our clients and business partners to adapt creative direction.
• You will be actively involved in defining design process, mentoring your team and providing direction towards vision that will expand throughout entire portfolio of products, raising the quality bar of our designs.
• You will conduct industry and design research, bring forward new trends and learnings from the UX / Design world to the team to learn from or implement.
• From delivering wire-frames and prototypes to leading design end-to-end flows, you will be in charge of the user experience that will offer simple and elegant ways of interaction, while taking care of those small details that usually make the biggest difference.
• You will work on iterrating, brainstorming and collaborating with engineering to present feasable and conclusive solutions during the design reviews and demos;
• Because we believe in continuous improvement, you will also maintain a backlog of design / UX revisions for existing products and work with product teams to prioritize it's delivery.
• Provide expert guidance on design-related decisions and advocate for user-centric design principles.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

• 5+ years of experience in designing digital solutions.
• A portfolio featuring examples of design work you've achieved or lead teams to design.
• Strong design skills across iOS, Android, and Mobile Web platforms as well as solid understanding of different design solutions needed across platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of Figma or Sketch.
• Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and clearly articulate your design / UX decisions.
• Strong understanding of UX and human behavior – designing with empathy (visualizing and thinking like users - foreseeing their needs / anticipate potential UX problems).
• Ability to understand technical implications in design decisions and work closely with engineers to come up with solutions or compromises to technical limitations.
