The Product Design team @ D-EDGE is part of the Product & Tech team, made up of over 260 people based in Paris, Barcelona, Bordeaux, and Nantes. Our goal is to design and develop the best possible products for hoteliers and guests. We have created a culture in which agility and teamwork are at the service of innovation and excellence. Product Design is a strategic pillar to execute our company vision. The team advocates for the users’ voice and aims to put the user experience at the heart of everything we do. Product Design @ D-EDGE focuses around 3 areas : full-stack product design, design system, and user research.

🎯 YOUR ROLE WITHIN D-EDGE

Main role:One of your top responsibilities will be to build, improve and maintain the Overnight Design System. This is of course a highly collaborative territory where you will also work hand in hand with our Front-end team and your fellow products designers.

Activities you will participate in:
- Define priorities and a roadmap for the design system
- Planning and ideation for new components and patterns
- Design of components, patterns and principlesDesign system documentation
- Review, release and promotion of design system updates
- Advocate and promote our Design System throughout the organisation
- Design system support for designers and developers

Collaboration:You will act as a Design system Designer in the Product Design team, whose mission is to represent the users’ voice and ensure a valuable, differentiating, and high-quality end-user experience. We believe the design system topic should not be tackled in isolation and has to be grounded within our product design and front end practices. You will co-create with product designers and front-end developers and involve different stakeholders into the design system thinking and operations.

Ensure visual and experience consistency:Hotelier experience is at the heart of our B2B platform, a Saas-operated solution with a rich portfolio of 14 products, helping our 17,000 clients worldwide with everything related to distribution. This design system is key in our operations in both B2B and B2C, it is a foundation to every development in the Product & Tech team; 4 product designers and 100+ developers rely on it on a day-to-day basis.
⭐WHAT YOU’VE GOT:

Design system specialisation: you have already actively designed and improved one or several design systems (preferably at least 2 different ones). We will favour complex design systems (Professional Saas services, product suites, etc.)5-7+ years of hands-on Product design, with a majority of Software/Saas projects. You’re a T-shaped designer, with a broad range of skills and some specialisations. A demonstrating portfolio is appreciated.

High standard level of craft. Rigour and obsession with detail will be key for the role.

Proficient with design software with a particular attention to automation and standardisation (no surprises, we’re currently operating on Figma)

Design-engineering and analytical mindset. Your core skills and strengths are around structure, organisation and logic.

Strong cross-functional collaboration Communication skillsFluent in English: You’re comfortable working in an international context, collaborating in English on a day-to-day basis.

Bonus: experience with front-end technologies and accessibility compliance.
