Standing solid with an already established design team, you'll take on the role of Design Manager (B2B). You will grow and inspire — genuinely caring about the well-being of your team. You’ll be a leader who ensures that design continues to play a vital role in DKB's long-term success. You enjoy tackling complex internal bank processes and digitizing B2B products for business customers. You'll need levelheadedness to follow and adapt processes where necessary, keeping us moving forward and always developing. You are open to visiting your team once a week. { your_responsibilities: [
People Accountability
- You will lead the way in leveling up the design team by developing people, processes & structures and as well by hiring the right people.
- You are making sure designers are distributed to the most fitting products & collaborating on the big picture.
- You are defining Design development paths fitting the company structure, product & Design chapter needs & establishing chapter goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
- You are in charge of design tools management, assuring the team has all prerequisites to do their best work (Figma, Zeroheight etc).
- You are supporting the team to disrupt, empower, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary.
Process & Strategy
- You are leading the discovery phase to gather requirements, define project goals and align stakeholders on the scope and vision, while also contributing hands-on by establish creative strategy for key projects.
- You are operationalizing and implementing a standard system/process for design discovery and delivery.
Stakeholder Management
- You are working with interdisciplinary teams such as product owners, banking experts, developers and parallel project teams and work seamlessly across organizational structures.
- You are partnering with Product, Business and Tech leaders, build and maintain, relationships to develop a clear understanding of overall business and technology strategy where design has a key strategic part on the products.
- You are loving complexity and have the ability to deep dive into different contexts.

{ following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [
- You have 6+ years of design experience, with 2+ years of Design leadership accountability.
- You have a formal education in UX/UI or Design Management and know how to use typical Design Tools (e.g. Figma, Zeroheight etc.) Cool. You don't? Also cool, tell us your story.
- You are proficient with Product Development process & lifecycle as well as experiences working in agile teams.
- You have experience in the discovery phase and are familiar with methods like design thinking and design sprints. You know how to choose the right design approaches to create processes that bring cross-functional teams together, and you’re comfortable adapting methods as needed and know how to work close with Research.
- You are passionate about developing design talents, great products & your own skills.
- You are people focused and know how to motivate & encourage creative team members.
- You are a collaborator, good listener, problem solver, clear communicator, empathizer & teamplayer.
- You have strong skills in stakeholder management including effective communication, coordination and fostering relationships with divers internal and external stakeholders.
- You are fluent in both English and German.
- Bonus: You have a Finance background.
- You are passionate about your work, but also know how to enjoy your free time!
