Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge and lead a small marketing design team and become more effective by incorporating best practices.
- Set team goals, measure performance, and elevate the quality bar of the team while taking ownership of deliverables.
- Expected to represent depth in the craft of visual design: as an individual contributor, as a mentor and guide for more junior colleagues, team and peer functions.
- Take leadership to express and communicate a brand through distinct graphics, patterns, motion, interaction, and creative methods.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional leadership.
- Optimize on project management and maintain a high quality of deliverables from start to finish.
- Understand and evolve the brand standards and guidelines of all products.
- Experience with diverse content and subject matter.
- The ability to clearly present your point of view, express ideas, and accept feedback
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience.
- Can work on website, branding projects, marketing campaigns, and social media video collateral.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, color theory, typography, illustrations, and iconography with great attention to detail and consistency.
- Demonstrate senior working experience as a visual/UI designer with a strong portfolio supporting your meticulous attention to details.
- Knowledge of design processes, particularly as applied to marketing deliverables.
- Knowledge of capabilities and limitations in Web development such as HTML and CSS.
- Ideally worked in a startup or tech company to help adjust to the pace and autonomy at Plivo
Tools:
- Proficiency in current design and prototyping tools such as Adobe suite, Figma, AI design tools, etc.
- Good old’ pen and paper or whiteboarding to define concepts
