•Design and develop motorcycle chassis components and systems, including frames, subframes, suspension mounts, etc.
• Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to ensure structural integrity, durability, and performance of chassis designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and testing, to ensure seamless integration of chassis designs into overall motorcycle systems.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for chassis components.
• Perform design validation through testing and prototyping, and make necessary modifications based on test results.
• Provide technical support and expertise during the production and assembly phases.
• Availability to travel to Mexico occassionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in motorcycle or automotive chassis design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of materials (Sheetmetal, steel, aluminum, etc.), manufacturing processes, and structural analysis.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of motorcycle dynamics.
• Availability to travel to Mexico occassionally.
This position is remote and the candidates can be located anywhere within the United States territory.
The applicants must reside and be legally authorized to work in the United States of America, this position requires availability to travel occasionally to Mexico.
