OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for dynamic, creative, talented, inspirational and committed design engineers to deliver an extraordinary pipeline of new products for the fastest-growing consumer product business in the world. The role will be responsible for new product design development across a range of different projects.

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

Responsibilities:

• Professionally design and develop innovative design solutions and products in a fast-paced team environment.
• Provide solid modeling and prototype support on technology development and new product development projects.
• Using sound engineering principles refine concepts into reliable designs that meet performance, compliance, product integrity and aesthetic requirements.
• Design for manufacturability, for China production environments.
• Generate part specifications, including detailed drawings and specifications.
• Communicate design to team members and China factories.
• Perform product prototyping and testing, write test requests and obtain quotes from internal and external sources.
• Support continuous improvement of existing products.

Experience required:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3+ years’ experience in product development in high volume consumer products.
• 3D CAD proficiency, design experience in multiple processes such as: plastic injection molding, die-casting, sheet metal, machining processes, and assembly processes.
• Experience working effectively in a cross-functional team environment is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, versatile, organized, articulate and professional.
• Able to cope with constant change and competing priorities.
• Basic command of English speaking and writing preferred.

Education background required:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Good Skill level and knowledge of Pro Engineer Creo preferred

Functional Skills/Knowledge:

• Ability to work with flexible adaptable teams and processes that embrace and cope with change and uncertainty

Other Requirements：

• Traveling to supplier factory / staying in factory is required
