Design and Release Engineer Cockpit

The DRE (Design & Release Engineer) is in charge of design and develop automotive components for automotive products and release designs in the PLM systems according to the engineering and functional requirements, design standards, and provide and perform validation plants and testing warranty high quality standards for specific unit groups (INTERIOR COMPONENTS: Seats, Plastics, Trim, Restraint systems, Cockpit, Lighting). The DRE (Design and Release Engineer) should support the product development from concept design phases to product launching for all North America production facilities.

Basic Qualifications:


• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-5+ years of engineering experience
• Live in or near Toluca, State of Mexico (if you apply from another state, we may also consider your application).
• Experience designing and developing at least one of the following (Cockpit, Instrumental Panel, Consoles, Door trim, Mold plastics and/or interior system integration).
• Experience with injection molding, painting, and decorating plastic components.
• Experience with OEM or supplier design and release.
• Experience with NX, Catia V5, and Teamcenter.
• Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R creation and execution.
• Experience with component builds and execution. Preferred Qualifications
• Master of Science in Engineering or Business.
• Ability to lead teams and present to management for issue decisions.
• Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and/or Reactive Shaining Problem Solving.
This position is to work remotely with availability to travel occasionally, all candidates MUST reside and be legally authorized to work in Mexico.
