Deputy Regional Director, Sales and Distribution

The Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual for the position of Deputy Regional Director, Sales and Distribution. As the Deputy Regional Director, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the sales and distribution activities in a designated region. You will work closely with the Regional Director to develop and implement sales strategies, manage key customer accounts, and drive revenue growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Regional Director in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage and oversee the sales team in the region, providing guidance and support to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market penetration and increase sales.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and distributors, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the Regional Director.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing and Operations, to ensure effective coordination and execution of sales and distribution activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Location: South-South Region & North-West Region

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market dynamics.
