Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Deputy Program Manager to help manage and lead a contract with a DoD customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all operations and tasks are performed by their respective team who demonstrates proactive contract management, excellent communication skills, and aligns with our company's core values. This position will be primarily remote, but will include some travel to our client's site based out of Falls Church, VA. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serving as a point of contact with the customer.
- Holding regular meetings to review program status.
- Organizing and lead internal team meetings including Agile ceremonies.
- Managing program personnel and ensure team is adhering to program quality control plan.
- Managing program staffing, conduct interviews, onboard new team members.
- Managing program budget, establish cost plan and tracker; conduct monthly internal program review meetings with Dark Wolf leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of experience as a Program or Project Manager
- Experience with government/DoD clients
- Experience managing large technical teams including creating and executing program plans
- Experience managing program cost and budget throughout the contract lifecycle
- Experience working closely with program leadership to conduct program briefs, leading recurring status meetings, and creating briefing slides and related reports
- Experience creating and adhering to dynamic program schedules including satisfying key program deliverables
- Experience expanding technical staffing for programs
- HS Diploma
- US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree
- Experience managing Software Development and/or Systems Engineering programs
The estimated salary range is expected to be between $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 commensurate on experience.
