- Analyze queries received from sales and devise solutions along with costing
- Develop and define technical concepts and work closely with Engineering for preparation of offers
- Define system and line efficiency in coordination with Engineering
- Determines system line costs and ensures technical validity of solution
- Prepares layout and ensure correctness of layout
- Prepares technical risk assessment like PAD Tool, QGA, QGO etc.
- Ensures timely preparation of offers and also key selling points for Technical sales
- Presents technical solution to customer both internal and external
- Know how transfer to the project manager once the purchase order for the project has been received
- Selects solutions which assure proper performance, reliability, safety and manufacturing economy.
- Prepare Installation and commissioning plans for Line projects
Skills required:
- Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics having 8 - 10 years’ experience in Techno commercial function in Packaging machines/Capital Equipment
- Problem solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, including gathering and analyzing information, developing alternative solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role.
- Self-motivated, sense of urgency and well organized.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics having 8 - 10 years’ experience
