Roles and Responsibilities
● Directing & managing all design & creative aspects for Roadster (both Genders)
● Building clear and strong identity for the Brand, translating brand philosophy to tangible product
range.
● Build long-term consumer focused, market driven and brand right creative design direction
across product categories.
● Establish creative strategy, product innovation rhythm & timeline schedules for the Brand
● Define and build seasonal direction and stories for the brand with category designers
● Proactively identifying gaps and white spaces to create new opportunities for the brand.
● Work with buying team on merchandising assortment plans to align on design direction for the
season
● Constantly engage with marketing, catalog, and curation teams to enhance the brand's presence
● Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics,
colors and shapes and be able to guide & direct the team
● Manage seasonal timelines & ensure adherence to systems & processes
● Ownership of Brand KPIs and work with Brand Head & Buying team to ensure that Brand meets
financial targets
● Team Management - Direct, manage and lead dedicated design team. Responsible for keeping
the team motivated and engaged.
● Engage with various internal and external audiences on Brand design concepts
● Build strong working relationship with cross –functional teams
● Contribute strategically to brand design business component
● Be the true evangelist of Brand
Qualifications & Experience
● 10-15 years of expertise in menswear and women’s western design, with a postgraduate or
graduate degree in Fashion Design.
● Must have prior experience in team leadership.
● Exhibits a strong capacity for bilateral thinking (both creative & analytical), effectively
considering multiple perspectives and approaches.
● Highly creative – The candidate should have a great sense of style that will be required to
constantly come up with new ideas for fashions.
