As a Deployment Strategist: Infrastructure & Development in the DFW Region, you’ll take center stage in a mission that’s reshaping the future. Your task? Turn visionary ideas into tangible, life-saving realities. You’ll be the driving force behind establishing Zipline’s ground network in one of the most dynamic regions, creating the critical backbone for our cutting-edge drone delivery systems.

This is not your average real estate development role. It’s an opportunity to operate at the nexus of real estate, technology, and government, where your decisions will directly impact lives. You’ll own every phase of the journey—scouting strategic locations, navigating regulatory mazes, and overseeing construction projects with precision. You’ll thrive in complexity, aligning diverse stakeholders and bringing together the resources needed to deploy infrastructure that redefines how essential goods are delivered.

Working shoulder-to-shoulder with our Real Estate, Government Affairs, and Community Engagement teams, you’ll be a key influencer, building critical relationships and securing approvals at lightning speed. Whether it’s negotiating high-stakes deals, managing top-tier contractors, or championing Zipline’s mission at city council meetings, you’ll be the face of innovation, driving projects from concept to completion and helping build a world where logistics work seamlessly for everyone.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Architect the Future: Develop and execute pre-construction strategies to streamline approvals and fast-track the deployment of our life-saving technology.
• Operationalize the Vision: Manage the construction of Zipline’s infrastructure, from site development to full operational capability, ensuring every project is delivered on time and aligned with our strategic objectives.
• Be the Face of Zipline: Build strong relationships with city officials, council members, and regulatory bodies. You’ll represent Zipline in public forums, advocating for innovation and cutting-edge technology.
• Navigate Complexity: Work alongside legal and regulatory teams to solve complex challenges in an evolving regulatory landscape, creating a clear path for drone delivery at scale.
• Seamlessly Integrate: Collaborate with customer real estate teams to embed Zipline’s systems into both existing and future infrastructure.
• Lead with Influence: Drive alignment across internal and external teams, ensuring everyone is focused on delivering high-impact outcomes.
• De-risk and Deliver: Identify and mitigate risks across the development lifecycle, ensuring Zipline’s operations are built on a solid foundation.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Strategic Expertise: 4+ years of experience in real estate or infrastructure development.
• Operational Excellence: A proven track record of managing complex entitlements, permits, and construction projects, particularly in highly regulated environments.
• Influential Communicator: Strong storytelling and communication skills to align diverse stakeholders, from internal teams to public officials and community leaders.
• Public Advocacy: Experience engaging with city councils, zoning commissions, and public forums, effectively navigating the political and regulatory landscape.
• Technical Acumen: Experience collaborating with design and engineering teams (Architectural, Structural, Civil, MEP) to deliver infrastructure projects.
• Regulatory Navigator: Familiarity with working alongside Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to streamline permitting and inspection processes.
• Regional Presence: Based in the DFW Metroplex with daily travel within the Metroplex, with flexibility to travel up to 20% to support Zipline’s national and international expansion.
• Relentless Drive: A passion for solving hard problems, delivering results, and making an impact on a global scale.
• You must be eligible to work in the U.S.
