Resource Innovations is seeking a Manager/Sr. Manager level DSM Program Design Project Manager to join our growing team ideally in Cary, North Carolina, or Louisville, Colorado, however, working remotely will also be considered. As a Manager/Sr. Manager with Resource Innovations, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight and project management for the Advisory Services business unit, working on energy efficiency program design. Responsibilities will include leveraging existing program data, market potential study results, and other available market data to work collaboratively with utility clients to develop and design DSM program portfolios. Program design activities include defining and adhering to regulatory requirements, cost-effectiveness screening, and incorporating program best practices.

Specific responsibilities will include supporting: staff development, team execution, and reviewing work product for client delivery, while ensuring on-time and under budget performance of DSM, DR, DER program design and other related tasks. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead development of DSM program and portfolio development activities
  • Manage client relationship (communications, coordination, deliverables, reporting)
  • Leverage experience DSM programs to incorporate best practices in program design process
  • Oversee cost-effectiveness analysis and development of appropriate program costs
  • Lead regulatory support activities related to regulated utility DSM programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. social science, environmental science with a focus on energy efficiency / energy management, or engineering).
  • 5+ years of experience with electric or natural gas DSM programs
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Expert-level understanding of DSM cost-effectiveness testing.
  • Experience supporting DSM program design, implementation, or evaluation.
