What we can offer you! - Your Role:
The Demand Manager (m/f/d) will coordinate the flow of information from the sales team to operations in a way that is actionable, fiscally responsible, and customer-focused.
Activities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop and execute demand planning strategies and processes for the Teamsports & Workwear Aftermarket External Embellishment business across the EU and US markets.
Collaborate with retailers, clubs, customer service, and key stakeholders to gather market intelligence and insights, ensuring accurate demand forecasting.
Analyze historical sales records, market trends, and customer data to generate the consensues forecasts-
Drive cross-functional collaboration with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to align forecasted demand with production and inventory planning.
Continuously improve forecasting accuracy by evaluating and implementing advanced statistical forecasting models, demand planning tools, and processes.
Identify and address demand planning challenges and bottlenecks, proposing actionable solutions to optimize inventory levels and customer service levels.
Partner with supply chain teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and efficient inventory management based on demand forecasts.
Generate regular reports, presenting key performance metrics and insights related to demand planning accuracy, forecast variance, and inventory levels.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in demand planning methodologies, incorporating relevant strategies into the business.
What we expect from you! - Your Expertise
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
5+ years of Supply Chain or related experience, with 3+ years supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Experience in forecasting and mathematical trend analysis.
Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow, and improvement strategies (e.g. continuous flow, etc.) and the ability to integrate those into the operation.
Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment.
Self-motivated, results-driven individual with a proven track record of process implementation.
Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels, and execution.
Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
High degree of commitment, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail.
Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Oracle.
